As a licensed medical doctor who specializes in the psychiatric evaluation and treatment of adults and adolescents in their late teens, my treatment approach is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care. I offer individualized treatment which may involve medications, psychotherapy or both. As my patient, I will work closely with you to create a treatment plan with which you feel comfortable.
Dr. Sullivan has a strong focus on treating patients with mood and anxiety disorders, especially those whose symptoms arise from life stressors or medical illnesses. Her training includes a special emphasis on supporting women during life transitions, such as pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, or other significant life changes like parenting or coping with illness.
People seek psychiatric care for a variety of reasons, including long-standing psychological issues, anxiety, depression, or psychosis. Many come during times of major life changes, such as loss, relationship shifts, or new responsibilities. Others may seek help when their usual coping mechanisms no longer bring satisfaction or fulfillment in areas like work or personal relationships. Some individuals also pursue psychiatric care to improve their relationships or support personal growth.
